CSP Connections Newsletter
CSP Connections was created as a way to share the deep and far-reaching work that is being done by programs with the partners and friends of the Community Service Plan.
Bethany Springer from the CSP Communications team is looking into how to convert the e-newsletter created on JungleMail into an accessible link. We are looking for a volunteer to help in this capacity.

1) American Heart Association's City Hall Advocacy Day - Thursday, May 1st.

2) Renewal of the Lighting Up Campaign by the NYC Health Department, which will run on the World Journal and a Chinese radio station. The media campaign, first released in May 2023, was develop in consultation from Charles B. Wang Community Health Center to tailor tobacco treatment services towards Asian New Yorkers, providing culturally appropriate and relevant public messaging and media outreach.

3) NYC Health Department's Detailing Campaign: The NYC Health Department continues to promote the new approach to tobacco treatment with the Tobacco Treatment Action Kit, which contains tools and resources to aid health care providers in the treatment of patients who smoke or vape, regardless of their readiness to quit. Please share the link above with healthcare providers.
4) Promotion of the Asian Smoker's Quitline Referral Incentive: Community members can get confidential counseling and free nicotine medication kits in Cantonese, Mandarin, Korean, and Vietnamese by visiting asiansmokersquitline.org.
